Spode, A Small Lorry

Our first test night away!  We drove all the way to Stalisfield Green to the Plough Inn, which has a certificated location (just 5 vans allowed on a field). We had a lovely meal there, but really didn’t sleep at all well. Both of us were exhausted by mid-afternoon and had to have a bit of a kip.

We're glad to report that Flynn seems to like his new Barjo cage. A bit more cramped than the back of the Volvo but it has a very comfy bed.

Steve at Auto Campers needs the space on his forecourt, so unexpectedly we got to pick Spode up before the expected date at the start of June. We stayed overnight in London, and then made our way out to Reading by train. The morning was spent having a massive tutorial session, and then we were off. "How about lunch at the Hind's Head?" asked Rog, and by a miracle they had a table. What a fine start to our camping career!
